New guy, looking for helpb who would have guessed. I have a 2008 Ranger with 2wd, coil spring suspension. I have read this year sits slightly lower than others. Stock tires are 225/70/r15. I bought 4" lift spindles and 2" lift shackles. I want to purchase 16"x7" or 8" wheels and 265/75r16" tires. The height of tires would be from factory 27.4" to 31.6". Does anyone foresee problems, issues, or see this as good to go? I will also be trying to find an axle with l/s 4.10 gears to rebuild as mine are 3.55 and this would bring the ratio back almost dead on.

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
With that change in tire size, you will definitely want the 4.10 gears. What engine do you have? Automatic transmission?

Its the 4.0 ohc, with the 5R55E, 5 speed auto.

And, thanks for your service to this great country.

This is how she sits now. Almost pitiful if it wasn't such a peppy little pickup.
