My sons 99 2.5 broke the timing belt. After finally getting the harmonic balancer off and replacing what looked like original plugs...questions...as far as the dual coils the front one is primary, right? And the plugs on the drivers side are paired with it,right?...if I'm incorrect please enlighten me🙂...next question...I understand I can't just tap the balancer back on. The bolt doesn't appear to be long enough to pull it on...any advice or input is appreciated..

Welcome to the forum! I moved your post into the 4 cylinder area, you'll get more responses there.

I don't recall which coil pack goes where although I'm sure someone will chime in.

I'd see if you can tap the crank pulley back on with a rubber mallet. They are just a slip on fit, probably just dirt or something holding it up.

I poop in the furnace.
Yup balancer is not a press fit technically but they aren't a loose fit either. Its cast so they break easily but you should be fine just cleaning up both mating surfaces and tapping it back on with a rubber mallet like Shran suggested. Just dont tap on the edges.
