Hey guys i posted how I got this truck in the new guy section so I'll skip that here and show what I'm doing with my new to me 06. Under the hood I had to put in a new battery and fixed the rusted out terminals, descaler the frame then wire wheeled it and painted on rust converter, new fuel pump and got it running. Next up is the rear brakes. I think the parking brake cables are rusty and sticking so I'll do a total rebuild. I have new shocks, running boards, torsion keys and shackles coming. I will also be adding a hitch this week. My son has a friend who is giving me a set of 31 inch tires there have about 90 percent tread and I'm ordering a set of steel wheels today. I'll post pics as I get stuff finished.

Are you using one of these on the frame? They do work well for knocking the loose rust off.
