Figured I'd set up a profile here since it seems to be the place to be for information and I'm constantly coming back for a problem fix. I have a 95 extended cab 4.0 with a manual I bought for cheap ($600) but it needs more than I was aware of when I got it. I'm still gonna fix the problems and hopefully end up with a pretty decent little truck to use as a woods truck, assuming the girlfriend doesn't kill me over it first. I also have a 2000 extended cab 3.0 I'm in the process of fixing what my dad broke/ wore out on it to sell. Ill be posting asking questions and getting both fixed up hopefully soon, I'm used to the big trucks so don't know a lot about these handy trucks

Well... Welcome to TRS.

You are what we live for. Give us some pics and tell us what your issues are (with your truck - not your GF).

Lots of smarter people on here than me who can give you solid credible answers. I just happen to be the one with nothing to do right now.

Welcome. At $600, you're going to easily find a way to have fun with your truck.

If your dad's truck was free you'll have even more fun with that one. 😉

Mine needs the entire exhaust, factory manifolds are there but coming off to have new gaskets and new manifolds installed. Still have to figure out what I wanna do for the rest of the system.
I have no air intake tube, I was debating a cone style filter so I could put a deep cycle battery where the stock air box would be and install an isolator. Use it for a winch and lights I’ll have on the camper shell.
I have a nice big rust hole in the frame at the kickup on the drives side, could small spots elsewhere that’ll be easy enough to patch.
Various wiring fixes, missing bolts and just a genera going through to get it together and functional. Then a set of mud tires.
I don’t really have a big deadline for it but want it usable by late October which I think is fair for what needs done.
The other one just needs the front end rebuilt(2wd), brakes, rear door cables fixed and the biggest issue is a no crank no start. Hoping it’s just the PATS key issue since it didn’t run and drive before dad went through a median on his way home one morning.
Only picture I have of it currently, others are videos showing issues or me cleaning it.

And here is the lovey rust hole in the frame that needs fixed. I’ve got the usual but if rust at the end of the frame by the bumper mounts and one spot in a frame flang above the axle but I’m not worried about those spots
Here’s a better overall pic. Got the bed off and the front bumper off so clean and fix stuff. Got a Y pipe delivered today so hopefully it works
