Hey guys,

My name is David, new here. New to truck ownership too. I'm 23, I brew beer  If you are in the 248 and want some let me know. I own a 2004 Ranger with a 2.3l 5spd. The engine never got any love before me, I already rebuilt it. There were so many snapped bolts and so much over torquing, no thread oil drain plug, he pulled them out, oil filter turned inside out from over tightening. (The things you don't see when just looking under a hood of a used truck...) It runs great, a little play in the steering gearbox. Something to work on later. It's up on 31's I might street it and drop it on to some mustang bullitt rims. The woman wants it to be an off-roading truck but with only rwd I dont see a whole lot of potential. Even though the room under the hood isn't as big as the 1st gen's I might be dropping a 302 and a 9" in just to say I did.

Other cars in the drive are a 2002 Buick LeSabre custom, stock and a 1990 RX7 ported and cleaned, it has adjustable suspension. It's suppose to be my buddy's drift car, I've only see it go in a straight line. :icon_rofl: Though he does hold the record for highest horsepower out of a naturally aspirated 2 rotor 13b or whatever those engines from that generation are.

A small album of my truck

Thanks you guys. I am glad to be here and I will be using those tech articles. Up until recent I have been all 3800 from GM.

jhammel85 we should start a homebrew section in general. I never get bored talking about it. I want to open a brewery one day.
