New guy from Ohio

I figured I might as well throw a post up in here to introduce myself.

I don't own a Ranger yet, but i'm getting my hands on a 1990 Ranger as soon as I get my 1997 Grand Cherokee sold. The one i'm buying was built for wheeling and I will continue building it up.

I'm from Michigan originally and attend the University of Toledo but i'm working on transferring to Cleveland State as soon as Monday. I'm studying to get my Civil Engineering Degree. If you couldn't tell, i'm big into wheeling - I spend most of my free time wheeling and wrenching with a couple of my good friends.

I don't have much knowledge with Fords, but I'm pretty handy with Jeeps! I hope to learn more about them, especially as I help my buddy with his Exploder.

I agree, I realized after wheeling my ZJ pretty hard a few times that the tin can they call a unibody will not last with me behind the wheel. I'd be spending a small fortune upgrading the axles and plating/armoring the vehicle to with stand the stress of the abuse. Especially if I ran any larger tires or locked it.

So, I decided early 90s Ford it'd be. I wasn't gonna be picky, but was leaning towards and Explorer until I talked to my buddy about his Ranger. So, as soon as I sell my ZJ, Ranger it is!!!
