Hey everyone, I have an 84 ranger 2.0 single carb. Needs some TLC and came here for help. Ive been reading online these trucks don’t need the vacuum components so I was looking to remove what I can. If someone could shed some light on that, I would greatly appreciate it. Last week I put a new rotor, cap, plugs and wires on. Next up is the carb rebuild and valve cover gasket. Anything else I should look into while I’m in there? Also the wiring on the drivers side is chewed up with exposed wires, is there anywhere I can get a new harness (plug and play)? Or do I need to replace the pigtail and each wire ?
