new bronco now axle and lift swap?

I made a post about this green 1987 bronco II a few weeks ago looking for lift help. Truck was running great, was about to put tires on it and put it on the road then the tranny decided to take a shit. I came across another super clean 1988 with 71k miles,all factory with working ac for a very good deal I could not pass up. I've got it on the road and have been driving it as my daily the truck is awesome I love it. The 1988 has the 3.45 gears, and the green 1987 has 55k original miles, has 4.10 limited slip and the axles are in great condition. I'm going to hold the green truck as a backup motor and spare parts if I ever need them and I was thinking of swapping the front and rear axles to my new one so I have the 4.10 gears to run 31s. I dont want to swap to a d35 or 8.8 i only want 4 inches and 31s. The green 1987 has a 6 inch lift mixed with rough country parts and others to get to 6 inches. I only want 4 inches of lift on my new one and instead of buying another lift kit, does it make sense to use everything from the 1987 to put onto my new one? The 1987 has 3 inch rough country leaf springs in the rear with block. I was going to take the blocks out of the rear and use the shocks and leaf springs with the axle and swap it onto my new one. The front i was going to use the extended brake lines, all of the drop brackets, and buy the sway drop brackets that I still need to get the proper angle. I was also going to buy new 4 inch coil springs from jeffs bronco graveyard to use instead of the 6 inch coil springs in it currently, and use the new rear drive shaft off the 1987 as well. I've already took the 30x9.5 tires off of the 1987 to drive around for now and it barely rubs when I turn out of my driveway lol. I figured i might as well take the 4.10 axles and use all of the parts from the green to achieve my 4 inch lift. I was also going to consider buying extended radius instead of using the drop brackets for those. Is there any problem with this plan or would it be no problem?

If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
If you're going to run bigger tires the 4.10's will help regain the power they eat. Unless you're doing serious off roading I hate lifted trucks, I'd raise it only enough to clear your tires. With the short chassis under a Bronco II it's going to be hard to get the driveline angles right if it's lifted. A rust free Bronco II would be valuable in the North east and should sell fast even with a bad transmission and swapped in 3.45's if you decide to sell it.

Yea thats my plan just 4 inches to clear 31s and i figured the 4.10s would help alot. I'm in south florida and it seems very hard to find one as it is, the 1987 needs a passenger side floor pan from wet carpet sitting, would be a super easy fix with one of the 40$ floor pans so this is for sure a solid project truck for someone. I just want the gears/axles more then anything just trying to decided if its worth using the lift off of the truck and the axles or just swapping the axles, and selling the 1987 with the 3.45s and bad transmission ( which i already pulled) as is and just buying a stage1 James duff maybe. If I use the lift off of the 1987 I would still probably bolt it back up stock with the 3.45s and sell it. Im just wondering if the lift is worth using at this point lol. This has the 3 inch rear springs, if I were to get the stage 1 duff kit, it has an add a leaf for the rear stock springs. So i figured the rear setup on this and new 4 inch coil springs for the front and using all of the drop brackets, extended brake lines etc. would be an easy lift swap to get what I'm looking for since its all here already.

Call me crazy but I would just leave the new one alone for a classic driver. Then do whatever you want with the original one... have some fun with it and if it brakes... you still have the classic to drive.

I want to sell the 1987 bronco with the 3.45 axles. I decided im going to swap the front and rear axles with the 4.10s into my 1988. Then sell the 1987 with the lift and the axles with 3.45s, and sell it as is with a bad transmission. Ill use the money from that to buy a james duff lift. Probably would be better to buy a nice lift then frankenstein one together lol.
