New Battery, No Start with Bypased Clutch Switch

When i turn the key it does not engage the starter, battery is new and I bypassed the clutch switch in hopes itd fix it. All the light and radio work. My truck has also had alarm light problems when bumped or shutting the door and cars driving by

Welcome to TRS :)

In 1996 check fuse #24(10amp) in cab fuse box, it passes the 12volts from ignition switch to clutch switch then to starter relay in engine fuse box

If you have factory anti-theft then there is a starter interrupt relay, in between fuse 24 and the clutch switch

It shows the starter interrupt relay in Relay Box 1 which should be just above gas pedal under the dash
There are several relays in this box

Do you hear the starter relay in the engine compartment "Click" with key in START?
If it does then the 12v is making that far, if not then its anti-theft or fuse
Long shot is the ignition switch under the steering column, you can test if fuse 24 has 12v with key in START
