I need help identifying the year of this Ford Ranger. Your help is greatly appreciated. It was used in the theft of a trailer early this morning.

You're showing 2 single frames from right to left, that truck is only starting off, it can't be going that fast pulling that long of a trailer. Can it? It has the bug blower on the hood, not sure about any window attachments. It also has a big dent in the drivers side door, maybe that's a plus, maybe not, but it certainly distracts from an accurate identification, if that is even possible, but try as best you can.
I see on your monitor screen that you should have a frame by frame.
You need to click closely through it, frame by frame, find one where the best parts of the truck are not behind a bush, save the best frame and run it through a photoshop or an editing program/app. Enhance it also if that helps clarity, and then post your best image.
You might find then that some of the fine folks here can help you

Can you post all or some of the video to YouTube or somewhere and link it here? A video would be easier to see the details of the truck.

In the first pic, looking at how thin the front bumper is, I would say late 90's like '97 or '98

I would like to know WHY you want to know more about this particular ranger? Did they steal the trailer from you or something? It's a small white beater truck with probably a loud exhaust. Drive around town looking for all the white rangers. Hard to tell if the bumper is chrome or painted white. This should be a fairly obvious truck to find since you don't see many older rangers anymore. At least not like you did 10 years ago lol.

Sorry I just scrolled back up and read that they DID in fact steal your trailer. Do you not lock your trailer? I try to deter anyone from a quick buck if I can. Trailer locks are cheap and affective.

Cordless tools are also cheap and effective against locks.

Yes but a grinder cutting a lock at 2:30am is awfully noisy. I'm not saying it's going to stop them, just saying it's going to slow them down or deter them from doing it. I drive past a lot of trailers, campers and boat trailers that are just sitting with the tongue facing the road, no lock, just waiting to be hooked up.... When will people learn....

I have a lock on the hitch whether it's on or off the truck. Also a larger one on the lift, after fully raising it I take the safety chains(a very old and sturdy Uhaul set) and wrap each in opposite directions around the lift handle to keep it from being turned.
About the only get away without both locks being broke is to wrap a chain around it somehow and drag it, but that would make lots of noise, drag a deep line in the asphalt, and look very strange

It takes me just about a minute to lock it up

Ranger was probably stolen as well, standard MO for thieves, which would mean 1998 or older, no PATS(passive anti-theft system)
It is at least gen 2 so 1993 to 1998, if it has a 4cyl engine it could be up to 2000
