Does anyone have any idea what type of flare the port on the left uses??? I'm pretty sure it's a M12 and I'm getting a 1.5 thread pitch with my guage. But it almost looks like something is missing, theres just that hole and no seat for a flare to sit on. Call me crazy?

The file is probably too big. There is a limit on file size. Make it smaller in paint or something and try again. My phone takes pics ~4500x2500. I have to go into paint and make it smaller by 20% to be able to upload.

That's correct, maybe not for your truck, but it's right for something. The Explorer master in my Ranger is the same way. The port that you say looks "wrong" takes a bubble flare, not a double flare.

If you need it to take a double flared line get one of these bad boys from the local parts store with the right threads, and go to town.

I don't like using them just because it adds an extra joint that could potentially leak, and I have a master flare kit and can make either style on any sized line myself, but I have used them before without issue.

Adsm, thanks a lot for your time! I just thought I was missing something, it's been a while since working on the brakes and original master cylinder is long gone. It's actually an 88 Hi Rider, switched the rear to a beefed up 8.8, front to a dana 35, james duff 5.5 lift, 2" body lift, 35" mickey Thompsons, built c4, 363 stroker, traction bars etc etc etc etc etc etc....I will post the build in the next couple of months, shes beautiful. Even has the original push bar with cateyefog lights, light bar, rear tube bumper all mint. I'd like to show her off heh, it's been going on a 5 year project. Been garaged last 20 years
