I have a 2003 Ford Ranger Edge FF 3.0 motor in a 1998 XLT body. It was a lengthy swap to say the least. What my problem is now? I can't get the stupid fuel filter off! The space between the filter and the front line is too little to get the tool in. I tried the pen cap to no avail. I took a grinder to the tool and got it in. My hand strength is not good due to an injury. Several guys tried to take it off. So, now I have a bent tube on the filter that won't spin in the line. I have the tabs depressed but nothing! Question.....can I just take a hacksaw to the filter tube then get the bent tube out? Help! I can't afford to get anymore help around here.v
