Hi, currently doing a Duraspark conversion on my 1984 2.8l v6. Having one hell of a time finding a distributor.
Looking specifically for the Cardone 302691, if there are any equivalent part numbers I should look for that works fine too.
Or any auto yards with distributors from a 70s mustang or pinto v6 as well.

If anyone knows a good parts source with shipping to Canada I would love if you referred me. I've been looking for a week with no luck and need it kinda urgently.

If you are that desperate you could try a Cardone 31-968 or 31968. I see O Reilly's has them as well as rockauto. It's for a 1974 Mustang II with the 2.8. It's a points type distributor. The only one they seem to have is this one, which has a the dual port vacuum advance. I considered this option when looking, and I was going to convert the points to the pertronix conversion. Or you could just use the points to drive a aftermarket ignition box like MSD. The pertronix would get rid of the points, the aftermarket box would keep the points and let them drive the box. I didn't go this way because it's more money, but it may be the only option right now.

Try converting to points, first? Those dist (1974 Mustang 2) show in stock at Advance Auto in the USA. If I find my box for my duraspark dist, I will post the part #.
