The guys I know running the 44s are outright merciless. One actually swapped to a D60 and says he wishes he hadn't wasted the extra money.
That said, a D60 would only add about 3" to my width and when I'm already adding 6.5", what's three more going to hurt? I don't mind spending some extra cash up front to make sure it's gonna hold, but the locals snatch up D60s as soon as they show up in the yards. However, I found a guy who flopped a 2002 F250 with a 60 up front. He's planning to scrap it so I'm going to see if I can talk him out of the axles.
