Just picked this up today for 5hundo... tomorrow the teardown starts :yahoo:

She'll be donating her rear axle and 5.8 to the ranger cause :D

I was so excited that I almost started a build thread on the ranger, but I figured I'd better wait till I got some progress on the ranger...

Anyone need any parts off this thing?

My buddies place that the efftwofiddy is residing at currently:

Yeah, he's a ranger fan :D

And the parts pile in my room:

It is in really good condition actually... the engine needs work though but I'm gonna convert it to run off 'pane so I'm not too concerned about it...

I thought about replacing the ranger with the two fiddy for about two minutes then decided the ranger would be more unique... and I love my ranger more than a man could ever love a woman so it would be like getting divorced and I don't wanna go through that :icon_rofl:

Plus so many things sound dirty when you say them thinking about it that way... Lube Job, service the undercarrage, wax job, check out the internals... :icon_rofl:

Looks like a good swap, i wish i could find a decent rolled vehicle here... I would get a truck like that and not wanna tear it apart....

I kinda don't wanna tear into it, but that year of effiddy is a dime a dozen around here. I love the ranger too much to give it up to build an efftwotruggy.

But yeah, lets just say I'm good at finding the top dead center :D

I'm looking forward to my lil girly growing all up... brittney will be a 3/4 ton ranger soon :yahoo:

I wish it was one ton, but since she'll have a 10.25 rear and 8 lug wheels already, it won't be too painful to swap in a 60... just trying to find a front 60 at a price I can afford is painful

Haha I was hoping no one would notice that...

it's my buddies step-son's "trail" rig. Should clear 40's when he's done (well it could now) according to him. We hate to say anything about it really...

We just figured the first trip out with all our rigs done we'd stay uphill of him and have a camera constantly ready.

Took a vid of her starting up... I almost feel bad about not building this truck, but it needs more work than my freakin truck.

Removed the rear tank and verified that the truck had been sitting for two or three years... gas was terrible (I was soaked in it for several hours) and I'm surprised that the truck made the 20 mile drive to my buddies house.
