Fix it up!

Slap the good ol' 3.0 in there. Fold the best parts from your other truck into it.

Un-bastardize that lift too!

I'm gonna be watching the progress, awesome find Mutant pony!

get some Sumo's to sit in the passenger seats and acouple in the bed, that should sink it down acouple inches... just kidding that lift looks like an accident waiting to happen, 3 blocks stacked in the back, stock shocks in the front and a welded on coil spacer, looks like you've got your work cut out for you, hope every gos well for you ,and hopefully it turns out to be a diamond in the rough

That must have at least 8 inches of suspension lift on stock wheels and tires. My God.....

6" suspension, 2" homemade lift blocks, yup 8" suspension. Plus 3" body! I assume they kept the drive train, rear end and, tires for a different build. Thats ok, I don't mind.

They have potential, but in stock trim the vast majority of them are gas sucking pigs.

The 351C went out in its prime, but the 302's and 351W's of its era were hot too so it is kind of a apples to oranges statement. The 351C was dropped right before things started getting ugly for the windsors.

I am putting a 289 in my Ranger, a Windsor from back when they still had compression.:icon_thumby:

That is the only logical way you could say that the Cleveland is far superior to a Windsor IMO, being out of production for 40 years kinda hurts the aftermarket support of the Cleveland.

I'm not a fan of the 351w although, a windsor would be a better motor for a 4x4 than a 351c. I'm a huge fan of the meager cleveland!!! If I were to sell my mud truck, it would be without the cleveland.
Ranger44, I too am a Led head. I like alot of the new rock though. Check out my myspace.
CTswampyankee, Since my '87 is parked My daily driver is now an f150, 4x4, 4.9, np435. Talk about a huge difference! It is really confusing to go from one truck to the other.
