so i got tired of the grill i had and wanted to change it up a little bit seeing as i messed up the badge on the front and it looked dumb without one, i went to the junkyard to get a new steering wheel pad and some trim pieces for around the jump seats, pwrranger88 told me there was a grill there but i thought it would be gone by the time i got there

The truck before i messed up the badge and the grill, it was kinda rigged because it was not the right style youll see...

This is what i meant, when i got it, the corners were cut from another grill and then little pieces were put in to line it up

This is the grill i found at the junkyard :yahoo: and for all the trim pieces and the steering wheel pad, and the jump seat trim it was only $25 :D I cleaned it up before this picture

and here it is on the truck, im gonna leave it this way for a while then probably paint it gun metal but for now i like it, and i plan on changing the corner lights to clear

Ya i like that idea! i think if you shoot for painting the trim and leave the grill it would be be pretty freaking cool looking. :icon_thumby:

My horrible edit on windows paint ^ not gunmetal, but if you use imagination it would look pretty good i think!

I think you should paint the trim piece the same color as the truck, I think it would blend better. Like this (Click on the thumbnail, it will get bigger):

yeah, i think im gonna do it tomorrow, i feel that if i do the trim pieces it will go good with the black tinted corners and kinda be nice with an aluminum grill and gun metal trim and black lenses :D so im gonna do it tomorrow morning and ill deff put pics up of it, i should have continued the build thread that pwrranger88 started but i never did :bawling:

I vote for black, not gunmetal, but hey each to his own.

Okay, this one didn't turn out quite as good, that's just the nature of the color gray I guess...

im leaning more towards the caymen green, now i know i may be asking too much here, but you think you could do it the color of the truck and tint the corners just so i can get the full idea...
