Been reading on the site for a little while trying to decide on a Ranger or a Samurai. They both have there advantages. But the Ranger is a lot better on road and that’s what I really need. I’m hoping to do some upgrades soon but I’m still learning. I might do a build thread once I get started. But I’m not great about keeping them up to date. Lol so far just some maintenance and a few repairs. I appreciate the warm welcome.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Step one; get around that Jeep. It'll just hold you back.

Sorry I’m not gonna get rid of my Wrangler. It’s my weekend rock crawler. The Ranger is gonna be for more DD and higher speed stuff. Plus I need something with a softer suspension for my wife to off-road. She can’t handle the getting tossed around. Those two need to learn to get along lol. There gonna be playing together a lot.

Thanks I looked for a while to find a 4x4 regular cab step-side 5spd with the 4.0. In good shape. I wanted the truck as small as possible for the tight trails around here. I was starting to think that I would never find one. Then this one showed up on my local Craigslist. Hard to find one in this good of shape here in the rust belt. It has fiberglass the bedsides so it should last.

Been trying to decide on a lift kit so I can get some real tires under this truck and get off-road. Anybody have any thoughts on this lift kit. Seems pretty complete.
