I thought I'd show some progress on my project truck. Well I picked up this jewel with a good drivetrain, frame, and clean title. 4.0 5sp

took the body off...

Then I picked up this donor body(no title)

then I swapped the body out

I needed some parts so I hit certifit up

trial fit them

and paint

and here's basically where I'm at, except I installed the headlights.

Still working on the wiring for adding power doors to a manual harness but they are working, just not completely done yet

I feel your pain man. My biggest hold up has been rewiring the dash for power doors, but I've got those woking now. Now I am trying to figure out if I can use 04 air bags with the 2000 controller. I pulled the bed back off today to paint the frame.

Actually the plan is to keep the red one and sell the black one. Its a 99 with a 01 edge front end.

Well I've been driving it for a couple days, runs great! its like a hot rod compared to my other truck, the 4:10's and manual trans make a big difference. I picked up this dual exhaust at a junk yard for 50 bucks!
