My 1989 ranger project
Purchased the truck off a old disabled man in south Phoenix , az for 900$.
It has around 84k original miles
Clean title all that good stuff haha.
Here's the truck how I bought it;
As soon as it got home I started by taking the whole grill assembly and headlight trim (along with the bed liner and tailgate panel not pictured).
Also did a little prep work here's a pic;
Then I took it down the street to a friends house where I painted it. We took off both bumpers , removed the bed and started on some bondo .
Here's some more pics;
Ended up picking up these bullit mustang gt wheels to put on it;
I bought them for 300 With good tires, but they had plasti-dip that had been clear coated over. I tried to get it off the best I could with a power washer and some solvents. This is about 2 hours of power washing haha ;
So I ended up taking them down to a local powder coat place got them done for 300 overcharged in my opinion but they came out great;
was some metallic rose paint I had laying around just had it darkened;
Here is the truck after base and clear were done with the wheels on it (used 1.25" spacers all around);
I will soon be buying some bumpers that are in good condition all straight and I'm thinking of getting powder coated to match rims.
Thanks for looking. Stay tuned for more pics and updates.
