@b1pig I was a little hesitant. I have never had good results dying anything. The fact that is it spray on helps me out, it has a stretchable finish that really bonds to plastic. IDK if I would use it on a armrest or something that gets touched and used a lot, the headliner seemed like a safe place to test. If I messed this up, I was going to go to JoAnn Fabrics and get a cool print fabric to cover it. So far, so good.

Nice work. I will always have a soft spot for these old hardbody nissans. I had a 91 standard cab 4wd and it was a little beast... I didn't do much to it other than tinted the windows, 3" body lift and some 31's... Oh and I had to have the frame patched because it was rotted out on the passenger rear. Fun little truck. Had the 2.4 liter with a 5 speed and it wasn't a race truck by far but definitely fun truck in the woods and trails.

Stole the struts from the lift gate of the "No Rear End Expo" to do this little project.

I had to fab up some brackets to go under the fender lip. I drilled out the spot welds for the Ford "L"brackets,
44695

cut them to be flat so they could be welded to some "C" channel

^^^That bracket goes here

and I put the ball on the hood hinge
44693

They are a little stout for the hood, but there is NO chance of the hood falling on me and that pesky hood rod is out of the way.
Here is the hardware that I used. Custom brackets x2 ; 1" 1/4-20 bolts w/nuts x4 ; balls w/12mm bolts x2; square stainless steel nuts (13mm) x2

Any plans on upgrading to aftermarket truck rims?
