Well obviously most of the details are on my RandumAdventures channel but I’ll try to hit the high points here. I’ll try to make a post or two a day to catch it up.
This starts over a decade ago when I started building my first 83 Ranger Truggy, some of you might remember it. I never finished it and moved on to my old Bronco2 Gilligan. A few years ago I ended up selling the truggy and sadly it was immediate parted out. Fast forward to last February I found a different 87 Ranger with the tube bed I had built sitting on it for sale so I just had to buy it

I'm guessing you replaced the B2 with this Ranger. Why did you fet rid of the B2? I really liked it.

Correct. Gilligan is actually up for sale again by the guy who bought it from me.

I loved the B2 but it was getting harder and harder to keep up with my buddies in their one tone 4dr JKU’s on 40-42s with my short wheelbase. Had a few close calls almost flipping the b2 over backwards and my wife wanted more safety equipment like a cage, better seats and harnesses so I just decided to build a bigger, longer and safer truck

Makes sense. I like the Bronco II as an adventure vehicle, but it's short wheelbase makes me a little nervous offroad. See the front wheels come off the ground a few times watching people climb with them.

After I got the truck inside I stripped down to the bare frame and set the cab aside. The cab got painted inside, new core support, new glass, custom dash plus a ton more. The chassis got a long arm Duff SAS kit and a custom rear leaf setup

I love the dash.

I love all of the detail. It's automotive art.

Thanks.

It's 3:30 am and I'm looking at places online trying to figure out where we can have a fall gathering this year. Someday I need to get up to Michigan but these drives from Texas can be a killer.

Ya know... Gilligan is what pushed me over the edge and down the Bronco II path. There were also a couple other people on here that helped. But you sir are a terrible influence.

Now the Mutt... shame on you.

Looking forward to more...
