Did you make your own rear control arms or adapt parts from another application? Nice work on the frame. The oval part holding the fuel cell with the single beam holding it is very cool looking. How did you manage to fit a 302 under the hood with those wheels and tires? I guess those are 20's?

Damn, thats low! That rear end looks so good it would be a shame to cover it up with a bed.

Thanks everyone! I made the control arms myself The rear oval is 4 pieces tigged together..

They are 20"s. and the 302 fits good! Mind you I will have a hole in my hood for my breather

Great fabrication work on the rear. I would love to see under the hood if you have any pics.

This thing will be a very impressive show piece. It looks like you have been very thorough with it. I like the custom core support, and that is the nicest looking master cylinder I ever saw in a Ranger. What did you do for steering and front knuckles? Are those headers for a Ranger? I don't mean to be a nuisance with the questions, but you have done a lot of very nice work and engineering that could be inspiration for other builds, even if they are something other than a lowrider or show truck.

Not a problem at all with the questions.. Front suspension is from a Toyota pickup. Steering column is from summit.. Brake booster a nd master is from eBay! They are very reasonable! I had to make a new core support to fit a bigger rad in it..
As for the headers the drivers is a ranger conversion but the pass side I had to make so it would fit how I wanted ..

I recently started on it again as I had a mishap moving it from one shop to another.one of the doors flew open and ruined the cab, so I needed to rebuild, once I figure how to get some pics off my phone ill update this thread! lol I realize its from 2012 but lets revive it..
