I haven't scanned the codes yet, buy the seller sent me a pic of the codes he got:

I've been trying to search online for possible solutions.

P0628 - Fuel pump A control circuit low. Sounds like this could be a poor ground, corroded connection, bad relay, or bad fuel pump.

P0171 - System too lean bank one.
P0174 - System too lean bank two.

From what I've been reading, having both of those codes at the same time can be air leaking at the intake / filter, leaking breather hose, or vacuum leak.

I was looking at one once, but then did some research and found out some issues with the supercharged v8, and the fix was swapping in v8 out of a mustang. I dont recall the details, it was so long ago. The Jag was my buddys and wasn't running at the time, but he ended up getting it fixed...probably just shelled out a ton of cash.

Started to replace the upper control arm. The bolts come undone easily but unfortunately the air strut is in the way and won't let the bolt come out of the hole. If I'm going to have to see if I can drop the air strut and pull it out far enough to get the bolts out from the holes.

Is I also found that the tie rod end on the passenger side is pretty worn

When the car sits for a few days it loses its air but once I start it up it raises 2-1/2 inches.

The right front seems to sit slightly lower than the left front when it's air up and I notice that the left front seems to have a newer air strut but I don't want to replace the right front air strut right now because there are 3 to $400 each

I think the cost of repairs is why you can buy older Jags and BMW's so cheap. I figured with some time and patience I can address it's issues myself.

There's a coilover conversion to get rid of the air ride, but I like the air ride. This car is suppose to lower itself when you get it over 100 mph. 🙃

Yes. Because their typical owner needs a new vehicle every 2 years to maintain status, so that's only as long as they need to last. Flagship luxury cars are just test beds. Which leaves plenty of room to pack lots of buggy unnecessary technology and over engineering, for minor flashy features. because longevity is not an issue. Good times.

The other side should wobble out with the wrench.. then you pull it out a bit and wobble the bolt pictured out.
