In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

Got my 35's ordered.

5 of the Kenda Klever RT's in 285/75r18. Ordered them through the Walmart app.. $1438.. they'll be in store and ready to get on tuesday.

Gotta find a pickup to go get them though... I doubt 5 will fit in the back of the Bronco lol. Doh!

Found it odd.. the same tire is available in a 35x12.5.. but the manufacturer says the 35 only stands about 34.5" tall.. but the 285 is a true 35" lol.

Now.... since I only have 4 18" wheels... I need to aquire another to mount the spare on. Going to look around and find the cheapest steelie i can... and then just run a spare tire cover. No way am I spending 360$ on a matching spare wheel lol

I used to always run cragar soft 8s on my jeeps. Worth looking at. Usually fairly cheap.

I fit 4 35" tires in a 2 door Justy (well 3 in it and 1 strapped to the roof...), I'm sure you can figure it out in a convertible...

On another note, that soot on the Ranger tailgate is from when the vane air flow meter went out and it shot flames out the tail pipe, good times!

I'll have no GOOD help on Tuesday to do the whole top-tango lol.

Pretty sure it's supposed to rain all week too -__-

Still can't believe you had one of those. I love those cars.

It was even a '92 with a fuel injected engine, was 2wd through... the fuel injected ones had more power, I got 32mpg during one of the last gas crunches but eventually the oil got sparkly and I couldn't find any more engines.. so I switched to a Geo Tracker to 26mpg which was great but you couldn't keep an engine or trans in it on daily driver duty...

Both of those rigs have quite the following from people that bought them up when they were cheap beaters and now they're both $5k+ to find a survivor for an old worn out POS :), I liked the Tracker better, if it just had a drivetrain that was durable... had all the power but the trans weighed 25 pounds and was super cute inside...

Not with a Bronco offset... this is a factory steelie.

From my “calibrated eyeball”, it looks the same as the Ranger wheels. That might provide options if that is correct.

Base wheels are the same as XL steelies. Black Diamond steelies are the same but painted black.

Ranger has the same backspacing issues.

Yeap, both the ranger and broncos come with +55mm.

The wheels I'm running are 18x9 with +18mm offset.. and it doesn't look like anyone makes a cheap steel wheel to match those specs.. naturally lol. Nothing on summit or 4wp.. off to check ebay now.
