Got the plans finished and starting work soon thanks to a 2.9 taking a dump.

302 with a m5od-r2 tranny mated to the 1350 transfercase.
Warmed up cam, edelbrock intake, fast ez efi fuel injection :)
Keeping air conditioning as well. So I need help on which radiator to run and keep it propoerly cooled. Thanks. Will post more info soon.

No donor vehicle. Just piecing together. Heres a pic of the jewel I picked up for only $70 at my local yard. Just gotta change extention housings but still. Also what's some thoughts on a b303 cam.

You are hooking a mildly built 302 to a BW 1350 t-case? Can it handle the power??

Gonna change a 2wd trans to a 4x4 just by swapping tail housings.

Let me know how that goes.

That's the R2 as well. Is the output shaft compatible? It does seem a stretch, squared.

Candyman, the 13-50/54 can handle a V8. It's been done many times over the last couple decades. Question is, and I don't know, are the M50D-R1 and M50D-R2 compatible enough to swap extension housings and output shafts. I bet no, but I don't know.

A couple years ago I sold a 4x2 4 cyl M5OD to a member on here (RacinNDrummin maybe?) and I think he converted it to 4x4 by swapping tailhousings. That was the plan anyway.

I know you have to change the housings and output shaft both. I found a website that offers used gears and parts as well as new parts somewhat cheap. I can get a main shaft and 4x4 housing for only $80 or so. And I reckon ill just see if the 1350 can take it or not lol.
