If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
There's a good article in the MSN cars section about Bronco II's. We sold a pile of them, especially from 86 and up when they got the 2.9 and A4LD to replace the 2.8 and C5. A little more power and overdrive were welcome upgrades.

@PetroleumJunkie412 :icon_rofl:

Best of all, it'll never be precious enough that originality will matter to very many people. Toss the boat anchor of a 2.8 (or the later 2.9-liter fuel-injected V-6) and swap in a 4.0-liter V-6 or—even better—a Ford small-block V-8

Well, I disagree with that comment from the article.
Not agreeing or disagreeing, I just thought it was funny.

Showed they did some research too, they listed the two most popular ways of repowering them.

I don’t do any off roading or anything that benefits from performance, I just like old ford trucks. The 2.9 is plenty for me. Mine got an engine replacement before I got it, so it runs great.
