Ok fellas, just back from a trip to the Vet. Hospital in Portland. Driving down I-5 to 58 to Oakridge, Oregon. 2008 Ranger 4X4 w/ 4.0 V-6. 22 MPG. And with gas at almost $4 per gal. I was glad to see that kind of preformance. Hope all are doing well also.

22 mpg is the highest I've ever seen with my Ranger (2003 FX4 4.0L Auto). In the summer, I can usually hit 20-21 with little effort.

I'm happy to see the 22 number jump off the calculator. Was afraid that I was only going to see 17 or so. hahnsb2: I agree that Oakridge is a nice little place to take a break from a long drive. I live in Keno, just outside K-falls. Been a long winter this year, but hopefully it's over and we can all get a sun tan. (o:

24 is a heck of a good #. Wish I could say that, but 22 will do for now.

I usually get 16mpg... With the 33's, I get closer to 15. That is about 75% highway (55-60mph), and the rest os city/ light traffic, and part of that is starting it up i the morning driving 2 miles to school, the starting up and going to work, and then home. So there is a bit of warming up in there too, which uses a bit of gas.

The only time I have calculated it with ONLY highway, it was about 18mpg.

I regularly see 22-24 on highway road trips. Thats generally going 65-70mph. I hope I can close to 20 though after the lift and upgrades. Only time will tell.

Be happy. I have a 1999 3.0L ranger that gets 14.5mpg. Talk about crappy.

My 4.0L SOHC got 20!

Man my 2.5l YJ with a hard top and full doors is getting 24.5 consistantly, I love it. So much better than the 16 mpg in the ranger.
