Go redneck and shoot it down.We have one heck of a widow maker hanging up in the huge silver maple in the back yard. The only reason it hasn’t been tended to is because it is very securely lodged by a Y fork over another large branch. That and someone would have to climb the tree. There is no way to get a bucket truck or JLG back there to work on it from my yard or the neighbor’s.

And that concept that lightning never strikes twice? I was Ground Zero for the Dunwoody tornado in 98, and I got hit by lightning again last year. Our place in the islands gets hit every other year...
