Ok, found a sweet looking 2011. Even has the right cap on it.

I hate the color, but that's why the gods gave us plasti dip.

I think they're our of their ****ing minds at the price point of 13,500 though.

Stopped and looked at it. I like the little SOB.

RED Ranger, that's the PERFECT Color, thats probably why the higher price

Red Rangers usually sell for twice the price of other colors, or should, IMO

Mine had 75k... one owner... Leer cap... 30 day bumper to bumper and a 3 day I don't want it return for a full refund and I gave $12,200. I didn't want to spend more then 10k... but it spoke to me. Only regret I have is that it didn't have a four door cab.

I was tired of looking at junk for 10k... most people didn't care for them and beat them up pretty good.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

Are you sure you can drive a truck that has all its body panels painted the same color?

It does look like a good truck.

Also, I did test drive it. Sounds and feels like power steering pump is either going or mostly gone, but not sure. Guessing there's a serpentine issue looming from.the sound of it. Or something else entirely because I.know very little about the SOHC engines.

It's had two owners with a hundred and twelve thousand miles on it The Carfax shows every service at the dealership. Underside is fairly clean, just surface rust from the looks of it. Nothing a little ospho won't take care of.

I don't have any experience with the newer stuff like this. Listened for this cam Synchro noise at startup, but I'm afraid I have no freaking clue what it sounds like. Anybody out there that can describe it?

The cam synchro thing is a 3.0 problem not a 4.0 problem.

It will sound like rattling, ticking, banging, grinding... screw it, if the engine makes funky noises walk away. If it's at a dealership, tell them to fix it or your not interested.

I would call it a rattle... Imagine a drum stick being run across and old washboard... usually on a cold start... only heard for a second until oil pressure builds. At least that's what I have heard.

You buy it.... nothing but a Motorcraft oil filter. They have an anti drain back valve.

Cruise control?!?! I'm jealous! I hear you on the red. After four red vehicles, I'm done with red. I didn't mind it at first but as each vehicle came with the color, the more irritated I got. The only reason I don't have another color now is because the dealership I was at only had the choice of red and black. I don't have time to keep black clean!.
