Acceleration during test drive might "sell" it; but booming along at high rpms on Interstate isn't going to make people happy with it long term.The masses don’t know the difference between 4.70 and 3.45 gears... They don’t care either. What they do know is it accelerates faster during the test drive.
IMHO, 4.46s are too high for daily driver; but then I'm out to replace an '02 Explorer Sport with 3.73s.
