I remember seeing Ertl ag tractors and the AMT backhoe and dozer kits when I was younger. I'd like to get my hands on them, but they always want so much money for them. Hopefully round 2 models will start reproducing them.

Dad has then from the 70's when he worked at JD. He also has a 1066IH and Massey (Like an 1130 type tractor) too.

They remade the 4430 (dunno about the others) in the 90's when I got mine.

It started as a sport model (2 door) I got 2 kits and made one. This matches my 1:1 very close....

I have a collection of Mustang II's and New edge Mustangs in many sizes and types. Now I'm looking for Rangers because I only have one.

Plastic models aren't the same they were when I was a kid. I used to do car kits in the seventies, I got the bottom half of a pt108 from the 80's. Last thing I bought was a airforce rescue boat. It's still in the box. Hull is in 4 pieces....

Ethan and I have built model rockets together several times. Haven't done cars or other plastic models yet, but that day may come soon. Mostly he's still absorbed by Lego, and I'm good with that.

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
I’ve done trains, cars, planes, rockets, boats, etc. haven’t done much in the last few years. I still have some rocket kits and I have some R/C boat models, including one with a working steam engine model to build for it.

Lead, Follow or get out of my way
I took my mom out shopping a month or so ago. She wanted to go to hobby lobby. She was doing her thing and I was done looking at the auto related mancave stuff and I wondered over to the model section. They had a model of a first Gen Bronco. I thought I might relive my youth and do it... until I saw the price. Wow!

I didn't ask for your life story, just answer the question!

You’re into R/C boats? Find someone to buy these:

That front one is 6’ long and I have a weed wacker engine w/ a water cooled conversion for it.

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
I have a couple 1/24 scale crawlers I need to grab a couple models for to use as bodies.

My hobby since I've retired is maintaining the 3 old cars ('69 Camaro, '31 Ford Tudor and '27 Ford RPU) and designing / building / flying model rockets.
