I just saw a new commercial for the F150. The song is The William Tell song for The Lone Ranger show. Now i can't be the only one to see the missed opportunity here. If Ford is going to go through the trouble to get permission to use THAT song, and also having a new product to market, they should have used it for a Ranger commercial. Are the marketing crew at Ford so young that they don't get the reference of that song with The Lone Ranger and also having a product called "RANGER" that these two go together is a "no-brainer". So why would they do that? It really makes me wonder about the decision making going on there.
