I really hope someone speaks DTC and can translate to English. This one all started when I rolled my window down. Had been working fine.

Rolled it down and up a couple of times while removing and installing the engine, replacing the dash cluster, and rebuilding the steering column.

Took her out for the first drive after the rebuilt engine, and rolled the window down. Went to roll it up, and it wouldnt move. Fiddled with the switch after I gave it a few minutes and got it up. Now it won't roll down. Diagnostic tablet gave two codes.

B1398 - Left front power window relay circuit malfunction

B1302 - Accessory delay relay circuit malfunction

Googled them and it seems they are likely related problems. Normally for this issue, I would just install a new master power window switch. But I don't know what the accessory delay relay is. Does anyone know where I should start?

The only other ETC was:

P1000 - On board diagnostics II monitor/drive cycle test not complete.

If I understand this one, it just means I need to drive it for a while until the self test completes. Doesn't seem to be a point to worry about.

Thanks for any help.

One thing I would check is the grounding. There is usually a main ground that goes from the rear of the engine to the firewall. Almost 100% of people swapping the engine forget this ground.

The large ground from the battery goes to the engine block.

The cab is mounted in rubber body mounts.

So for reliable cab grounding you need that wire from the block to the cab sheetmetal.

This is a shot in the dark, but it happens so often after the engine is replaced, I thought it might be worth checking. Bad grounds can cause strange problems.

The ground is on and tight on both ends. I knew I remembered connecting it, but I checked as you suggested, just in case.

So does anyone know where the Accessory Delay Relay is?

Thank you, so much. I'll check there tomorrow. It has been killing me trying to figure out what the DTC was talking about. I do believe that may be the last electrical issue left to figure out.

I think I fixed the ABS & Brake light issue today. I have a small squeal under the hood and need to bleed the brakes. The last mechanical issue will be new shocks. That is how close she is to being mechanically complete. Everything else is just cosmetic.
