Mevotech control arms with ball joint

Got these installed and the ball joints are still loose. Noticed there’s still play. Went to get an alignment and they said they’re not seated or install correctly. Anyone know what they could have done wrong? Place is closed until Tuesday of course.

How many people are involved in this repair? Did you order the parts from RockAuto? If you did, did you verify the actual parts are correct? Sometimes they get put in the wrong box. There is usually a part number on the actual part somewhere. RockAuto is good about it, and will send you the correct parts if that happens. It does happen, but I have only had it happen twice to me in all those orders I made with them.

Then who installed them? The alignment shop didn't do the work obviously?

Rock auto had sent me the torsion beam ones the first time. I entered in all the correct information and the fit should be correct. My mechanic is a small family owned place. Took it to National Battery and tire to get the alignment. They are ones who said it doesn’t fit or was installed correctly. You can’t speak to a human being at Rock Auto. The parts were labeled correctly. I’m going to call Mevotech and give them part numbers and see what may be common issues. Really sick of dealing with this. I’m considering not using Rock Auto again.
