its not so much a lack of interest dude. not everybody can afford a 200 mile round trip for a meet. That's more than half a tank for me. I sure know I can't. I want to go to a meet, but it has to be closer to where I live.

Yea I know what your saying , But I would have thought that the people that lived close to the meet to show up. I came and it cost me $60 in gas just to drive up and back ( no wheeling ) and I'm unemployed but atleast I made the attempt ,But yea I hear what you are sayin. Times are tough.

I'm in Enumclaw, I just don't check the board as often as some people.
I would have gone, I just didn't know about it.

I would have gone too had I seen this. Would have loved to meet some fellow trs users. Need to give it some time for people to see event. Thread was barely a week before you scheduled something. Got to give people time with a solid date, time, location so they can schedule around it, fix vehicle to make it there, or just find the cash for gas to make it there. My 2 cents.

yeah next time lets try to plan something about a month out. That way I might be able to save up some $ to be able to show up. Maybe not so far south either. I don't mind traveling but for me 60 bucks on gas is a lot.

Well I'm willing to give it one more shot and this time instead of me picking the date and time I'll let you all do it as long as it's where I can get to without spending an arm and a leg for gas just to get there so let me know if this sounds cool to you all ?

Trying to get money together. Would like to have a meet. At the moment not a lot of spare cash around for me and usually any I have goes into the tank. lol. Also getting ready to start my own business so things are probably going to be hectic for a little bit.

Thanks. Feels really good. So far I'm just subcontracting to a contractor friend of mine. He does property preservation. Lots of work so far.

I think a great idea, meeting up that is. Just to be able to talk with others who like these things.

Out this way there is an old style drive-in with car hop service which is always having car gatherings. Typically mostly classic muscle cars from 50s thru 70s, but even some 80s and other classics.

It's crossed my mind that it get people going "what the heck" 30 to 50 Bronco II's showed up on day instead of the typical classics. I dunno, maybe I have an odd sense of humor. BIIs are pretty close to extinction out here due to all the salt they put on the road.
