mazda m50d-r1 and m50d-r1hd

what is the difference of these two manual trannies: mazda m50d-r1 and the m50d-r1hd ???

will the manual m50d-r1 fit my 97 4.0 sohc .

i would appreciate any help guys ....|

as long as the tranny is from behind a 4.0L and is either 2wd or 4wd (whichever your truck is) then it work. The HD supposedly has stronger internals to handle the extra grunt of the SOHC 4.0L but is otherwise the same tranny.
