Hey I’m new to this site but my 1999 Mazda b4000 is giving me issues in 4wd. When I get into 4wd there is absolutely no power to my front tires. So I did some investigating and saw my vacuum lines were completely rotten off. I’d rather not redo all the lines and find out something else is wrong. I’m interested in manual hubs is it possible for this truck?

1998 to 2000 Ranger and Mazda B-series 4x4s used PVH(pulse vacuum hubs) Ford abandoned these pretty quickly, they had issues from "day one"

Yes, you can swap to manual hubs but there is only one maker, they are however sold under different names
AVM 470
or
Rugged Ridge

Are the two most popular names for the AVM hubs

Install method here: https://therangerstation.com/tech_library/AVM_hub_swap.shtml

Since these ONLY fit 1998-2000 Rangers and Mazda B-series new ones are still out the but they are getting fewer and fewer

There have been a few reports that some front wheels/rims don't fit over the new hubs, not sure if these were stock Ford wheels or 3rd party, but stock should have large enough center hole
I think was when "Mile Marker" hubs were used
