I have some Snap On tools but the rep that comes by is a dick so I don't spend a penny with him. I like to buy craftsman or mac when the guy comes by about once a month. Also i found mastercraft maximum to be very good and the teenagers at the store will warranty anything, its also the closes store so I buy them out of convince mostly.

i have a collection of all the brands mentioned. i prefer the s&K ratchets (old boss turned me on to them). snap on has stupid expensive kits but i have been lucky to pick up 4 or 5 of them for under 300 bucks. other than the s&k ratchets i have not developed a huge bias when it comes to companies. they all seem to have there ups and downs.

My tools are a conglomeration of being collected over the years. Mostly Craftsman due to cost and availibility. Hand tools from SO, Mac, etc., are way overpriced. My brother bought me a set of Stanley combination wrenches, and i can't tear the damn things up, and they are inexpensive. They also make a couple of specialized ratchets that have saved me a lot of time and aggravation.:)shady

I use a mix of Snap On, Blue Point, Jet and Mastercraft Maximum at work.

Snap-on. Ive got a stubby 1/4 ratchet thats flat black, similar to impact sockets. Its also cheaper than its shiney counterpart. very nice ratchet for tight spots. Also have the same thing in 3/8
