Manual to electric transfercase swap

I'm wanting to know if a 1990 for ranger manual t case truck has the wiring for a electric transfercase hidden or tucked away some where. Swapping to a electric t case would solve 2 problems. 1 being I swapped to a dana 35, and even with 6in lift the drive shaft is too long going to the electric from the same donor would fix that issue. And the 2nd is do to the body lift the 4x4 lever is sunk in the floor. I already have the electric transfer case..

I pulled the center air vent and it has the plug for the switch. Where under the hood or under the truck does the wiring for the tcase plug

There is stuff in the tech library.

Shortcut. Look under truck and see if there is a tail tied back....follow from there

Theres no wires at the t case. I was asking if there is a master plug under the hood someplace for the t case harness. And theres nothing in the library for going from manual to electric. Only electric to manual

Reverse that.

That simple.


The dash side RPO should be there. There will be a tie in in center lower dash and up where the switch goes. Rob harness fro. Truck in yard and it will be self explanatory
