I am converting from auto trans push button transfer case to manual t-case floor shift automatic. Picked up a junkyard transfer case and a shift bezel on eBay. Any one have a tub lying around or a good illustration of the floor area I will need to remove for shifter access? Is there a punch out plate? Thanks!

This is the setup I am installing.
Also any instruction on shifter disassembly would be helpful!

If I'm not mistaken, there should be a panel that is removable there.

You should just have to trim it to fit your shifter.

Did you get all the linkages with the t case that fit your trans?

There are a few iterations depending on transmissions, etc.

To remove the transmission shifter handle pry the chrome ring on the bottom down. Then you can pull the handle off.

then there are a few screws around the bezel. Lift it off and you will see one of these without the rubber membrane cut out for the transfer case shifter. Cut yours and install the new shifter.

All the parts I exampled are from an 85 BII.

Perfect thank you both!! I had the chrome ring down just thought better than pulling etc figured there was a set screw or something. I will look at it tomorrow evening hopefully. And I got linkages off of a manual and another member here swapped me a bunch a spare components for a tire carrier mount so I am hoping I wont have to scavenge much..
