Manual Hubs 99 B4000

okay, so i bought some Warn manual locking hubs for my 99 b4000 due to the pulse vacum hubs stopped working. after buying the new hubs i look at the diameter they are 3.5inches and the the hubs i have currently(stock) are 3inches and so is the inside diameter of my stock rims. is my only fix to this problem by buying new rims to fit the hubs or did they send me the wrong parts ( in side the box was an installation guide for a 97 kia sportage hubs) ???? any help at all is great

You answered your own question. Completely wrong part from the sounds of it.

Check part numbers and call warn to verify.

The only manual hubs for the 98-2000.5 trucks are offered are by AVM and they say Ford Ranger right on the box.

not necessarily. i have warn hubs for my 97 b4000 and i did have to buy new rims. see if the spindle fits and go from there. best of luck to ya man

He said he as a 99 which means the only place to get manual hubs is avm not warn, you still have the ttb where the 98 and up have complete ifs.

15001.70 AVM (Rugged Ridge) on B4000 1999

Do you think this part fit to my Mazda B4000 1999 because on Rugged Ridge website they said it will only fit B4000 01-08, i dont understand as my 1999 is PVH and the 01-08 are live axle???

98-00 Ranger 15001.70
01-08 B3000 & B4000 15001.70

does anybody know if it bolt on on a B4000 99 ?

also i saw on somes tread that they are not so good, that the can drop of the hub and some other bad thing do you recommend this swap i so confusaed as some pepole are vrey happy with them and other are pissed off about it...

just take ur vacuum lockout apart and take out the little metal clip out it will make it just like the new ranger and you wont have anymore problems out of ur lockouts atleast

Yes i know i can do that but i like to be free wheel when highway so thats why i want manual lock... remove metal clip always lock hub so its less attractive for me, but if i dont find any manual lock that fit thats what am gonna do...

Hey did you ever get an answer to this question?? I am wondering the same thing. I bought the 15001.70s about a year ago because my stock lockers were trying to lock in randomly going down the highway. After I installed these I drove this entire time with no problems, and I was able to lock them in just fine. But now the same problem appears to be back, and in my search I am now seeing the same thing.... 15001.70 is for 01-08 b4000 and I have a 99. I originally bought them thinking they had to be the exact same thing as a 99 Ranger... An apparently they have worked. But I'm wondering if it's not quite the right part.

Any help would be appreciated I've got mine on Jack Stands currently awaiting hub assembly/ CV half Axle, and I am yet to order the new set of lockers because of this question.

The rugged ridge are the only ones for that truck. Got mine for $140 shipped
