If the last thing you do fixes your problem and then you disappear/ don't comment on it, it leaves everyone hanging whos invested in your post as to what happened but more importantly you're potentially withholding the most important info related to the fix from future viewers. ........if you get resolution POST about it, do a final comment, don't disappear

My credo
Toonces drives a Ranger . . . . just not very well.
Couldn't agree more.

Just a few minutes using the "Search" function brings up a goldmine of just about any problem that you're having. It's a real bummer when there's no confirmation on what finally worked.

Yup. Sometimes I forget, but I usually try to update with what worked and what didn’t. Once in awhile there is a resolution that doesn’t make sense. My choptop was a prime example. The last 2.9 I put in it before swapping to a 4.0, well, I couldn’t get it to start. I spent weeks fighting with it, swapped everything from the heads up, had the distributor out at least a dozen times, replaced it once, was on here asking for help, ran the battery flat a dozen times, and when it finally started, I had hooked jumper cables to it and it fired right up. Never gave a bit of trouble starting after that. Still have no idea why that made a difference.

Sometimes it takes me years to truly discover the resolution. Kinda hard to track everything down at that point.
