The Ford Ranger, which was no. 1 in 2020, dropped to no. 16 due to a reduction in US/Canadian content from 70 percent to 45 percent.

My credo
"220, 221, whatever it takes."
Also build quality seems to have taken a nosedive in 2021 based on the complaints I see in the FB groups and 5G. Seems to be a combination of supply chain issues and Ford taking money out of the truck. Seen a number of people say their rear axles or transmissions blowed up and their trucks have been waiting at the dealer for months for a new one.

Man, that sucks if they are having those types of troubles. I really liked the new ranger when we test drove it last year (when my wife wanted to trade her escape) for a truck.

I tried to get her to get that ranger but they only had one around us and it was the same color as her escape so she said she felt like she was in the escape because from the seat belt forward, it looked identical to the escape.
