Hey everyone. My local advanced auto parts store has been very kind and patient with me throughout my search for the perfect clutch combo. Having not found proper clutch information, I just dove head first to see what I could make work.
So far, my attempts have been unsuccessful.
I’d come across a forum that stated:
-99-03 F150 M5R2 from a 4.2 V6
-94-96 F150 302 164T 50oz balance flywheel
-94-96 F150 302 clutch disc and pressure plate
When I purchased this combo, (flywheel/clutch plate) the splines on the clutch disc were too small for the input shaft in my M5R2.
Trans is from a 98 F150 4.2.
Does anyone know exactly where to purchase the working clutch combination? The only brand I’ve gone with is the Luk brand from Advanced. Not for lack of funds, but more for convenience.
Thank you!
