A couple of weeks ago I replaced my clutch with a new one from Perfection clutch. The swap went smoothly, all went as it should have. But now afterwards, I have noise coming from second and fourth gear. The clutch itself doesn't have any chatter or unusual sound, and engages perfectly as it should.
The sound it is making started faintly, only in second gear, and now quite loud, and is the same in fourth gear. It sounds similar to grinding, but between smooth surfaces. Just a constant Whir through the RPM range. I did flush the fluid in the tranny while I was at it, and the fluid came out without any shavings, or even any metal dust in it, so the gears should be fine. Doesn't affect driving at all, the clutch works perfectly. But now my tranny is noisy and it's driving me nuts. Does anyone have any Idea where I should look first?
