Some of you already answered my first post and have an idea what you're dealing with, but for everyone else; Hi.

I've always got some sort of project going on in the driveway (unfortunately no garage) and they usually consist of at least one sort of Ranger, Bronco II or Explorer. Currently I'm working on an 85 Ranger and 85 Bronco II. The Ranger is my current flagship project. For the moment it has a 2.8 and five speed, however I just picked up the engine I plan to swap into it once I rebuild it. I'm not sure what year its from, but I was able to acquire a turbo'd 2.3 from thunderbird/svo/merkur (not sure what yet). The engine came with everything from oil pan to air.... ummm plenum I guess. It has the turbo, but after a closer inspection the impeller shaft is looser than my ex. Luckily it's not as chewed up, but I haven't pulled the head off to look inside. This weekend I'll start on this project and maybe do a write up.

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
