So coming home from work tonight I was 10 miles from my house and my truck made a loud bang. Went to down shift to 4th and it was like it was still in neutral came to a complete stop and I had no clutch pedal whatsoever. But if I sit there and pump the pedal I get clutch back but it's hard as heck to get in gear. Then I lose clutch pedal again Im going to say my throw out bearing went because it's been howling for a little bit now but I find it odd that I lost 4th gear also. Anyway I'm looking at getting everything Luk brand for clutch and slave and master but luk offers 2 different clutches which one is best to go with? And yall think Ill need to get a new transmission now?

doesn't sound good.
what's interesting is 4th is straight thru. the input is coupled directly to the output so no actual gears are involved.

I'm hoping my transmission is still good it always shifted good just find it weird I lost 4th when my slave cylinder went out but still have 1-3 and 5th and reverse. I can pump the clutch pedal and get pedal but but it's not pushing the pressure plate 100 percent which is causing it to grind going in gear
