well iv come to the conclusion that my current computer is no longer doing it for me. its an old Toshiba laptop with a burnt out screen posing as a desktop. its been at the limits of what it can do for a very long time. not enough memory slow processor etc.

I'm now looking to replace it with a desktop with vista with the option of going to windows 7. id like a affordable system that i could finance it so its nice to be under 450 bucks. I'm not picky about brands at all. i was thinking some thing with 2 to 4 gigs of RAM and a good graphics card as i like to do some gaming but nothing to intensively. i have a semi idea of how all this works and what id like out of but id like some guidance on this.

i guess my dream would be something mjonesjr made but i don't think i could afford something of that glory:D

Hmmm...maybe he can build you one to your specs...if he's not too busy...and it's not too expensive to ship...

Well, you could just get some advice on how to build your own...I think MJonesjr posted a link that might be really helpful...and he or someone else could suggest parts that would work for you...

If you can turn a wrench, you can build a computer...they're basically easier than a Ranger and don't (usually) require ratchets, wrenches, or anything more than a star screw driver...and a bit of patience...
