looking for the reluctor wheel for the M5R1

I did a manual swap to my ranger as the 5R55E was junk. a long with the swap i got the engine harness and PCM for the manual. Today found a reluctor wheel for sale would it work with the 2003 4.0l Manual PCM?

That's some lousy photos, but I get the idea. Where is that part located? I have a couple of those transmissions put up here somewhere

I'm not sure it really matters but one is a 2wd and the other a 4

is on the output shaft in the same spot that the speedo drive gear goes.

they're not torn down. Does it come out without doing that?

the tail housing needs to come off and a snap ring is holding in place.

I'll go check it out soon as the noon news is over. Can you tell me if they're all the same? There is a 2WD and a 4WD and I believe the 2WD would be the easiest and less worn

Josh if that's an older transmission it may not even have one. Not sure when they added that, mid 90's I think, when ever the speedo became electrically driven.

That's a 94 B4000 2WD, mine's a 94 also, 4WD. I've been planning to use the shaft from the 94 B4 2WD in the 94 Ranger 4WD because that shaft got chewed up, but the transmission was a fresh rebuild. I just need to find a place who will do it

In the meantime I've put the original M50 back in it
